Application for Direct Admission to the PhD program (by April 2, 2026)
The application for direct admission to the Ph.D. program for the second semester of Academic Year 115 is now open.
Eligible and interested students are kindly requested to compile all required documents in the specified order into a single PDF file. Please name the file as: Student ID–Full Name, and submit it to the Department of Nursing office (Mr. Angus Cheng-yu Yen) or via email (11409366@gs.ncku.edu.tw) no later than April 2, 2026.
1. Eligibility:
(1) Those who are recommended for direct admission to doctoral programs by two professors from the original department, institute, college, or degree program.
(2) Undergraduate program students in the current graduating class or master’s program students who have completed their first semester of study, with academic grades and research potential satisfying the criteria of academic excellence designated by the intended department, institute, college, or degree program.
2. Required Documents
(1) Autobiography, Academic and Professional Background, and Study Plan
(2) Research Proposal
(3) Academic Publications
(4) Transcripts
(5) Two Recommendation Letters from Assistant Professors or Above from the Previous Academic Institutions (as attached)
(6) Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)
3. Applicants whose application materials meet the requirements will be informed of the interview time later.
